I have 1400 hrs on my Onan 7500. I boon dock only as I take it to the race track and normally no power. What is more important to long service life is running it frequently not the number of hours, IMO.

650 hrs on my 2013 10kvw.

If my Rv is running so is the generator.
We do a lot of boon docking while traveling to our destination and will run the generator non-stop.

Onan 5500 - 535 hours on 2004 model. I have had 4 years and put less than 50 on it. Use dash air and very little dry camping. Most of my hours are "excercise", lunch stops, or packing and unpacking time.
