Before purchasing our first motorhome we rented a couple to be sure it was something we wanted to invest in. We put a little over 5,000 miles on each of them.
The first motorhome we purchased was a new 2001Winnebago Adventurer. When we traded it in on a new Adventurer in 2013 we had put a little over 110,000 miles on it. The 2013 Adventurer has about 25,000 miles on it.

So counting 2 rentals and 2 that we've owner the total mileage comes to 145,000 miles since 1999.

How many miles have you driven a motorhome

New to the forum and the wife and I bought our very first RV.....ever. It's a 2015 gas Winnebago Vista 35F. This past year had been really fun, but stayed closer to the homestead in case we "forgot something", but did take one trip to Gatlinburg TN. For 2016, we are making our plans for various "longer" trips.

I just got the RV back after installing Blue Ox tiger track and trucenter suspension system. Must say, big difference in the ride and reduced sway. Best add on feature yet.

I learn a lot on these forums and appreciate the feedback many of you have.

Geoff

Rented a Winnebago once in the early '70's, and traveled in friends motorhome once so the itch was established.

Saving for a European vacation to celebrate our 10th anniversary but instead bought a new Midas Mini in 1977 and drove it for 97,000 miles
Almost new Winnebago Chieftain 1983. 115,000 miles
New Safari Trek 1995. 137,000 miles
Used Safari Trek 2009. 40,000 miles to date

Never did get that European vacation, but have had 389,000 enjoyable motorhome miles...

40+ years traveling so I don't remember how many miles or motor homes. I think they call it CRS.

We've only just begun. We got out '91 Class C this past August and have only put 112 miles on it since then. However, we're putting together a 7K trip around the western US for this coming spring/summer.

We average about 10,000 per year and have been rving about 22 years. We now own our 5th Class A so I estimate about at least 200,000 accident free miles.

30 plus years of driving Class A Motor Homes 6 of them 70,000 plus miles.

Ive driven a bazillion miles from coast to coast to upper and lower.

And of course this past week making the final leg from milton to orlando I forgot to put the keys in the car and unlock the steering. I went 50 miles in pouring down rain (hydroplaning I assume) and less than an 1/8 mile on dry pavement before the right front tire blew out.

4 tires, 3 bulbs, 3 bulb sockets, lots of wire to reconnect the bulbs, an antenna and the inner wheel well later I realized, dang I can still be an idjut.
