We use ours a lot now that we have the perfect place to go. Year and half ago we got a deal on about three acres river front property, already had a 30 amp hookup which is what we have in MH. It is considered a flood plain so no building there and no other utilities available, fine with me. fifteen miles from home with a county park halfway where you can dump for two bucks. Last year we just left it there most of the year and bounced back and forth depending on weather. Jim.

I'm a school teacher, so we have more time than most before retirement. Over the last six years, we have always done a 6-8 week trip in the summer, 3-4 long weekends local, 3-4 two night weekends local. Estimate 60-80 nights per year.

All of this has been with travel trailers. I suspect that now, being in a motorhome, we will use it for some other uses as well. For instance, we have two high schoolers involved in band. During marching season, there are many regional competitions and football games. We plan to use the motorhome for these. We usually sit in stadiums for 8 hours to see our boys perform for 5 minutes. With the motorhome, I can sit in comfort, eat our food, etc. This will likely add another 20 days of use per year.

We half-time, 5 or 6 months in Florida in the winter and maybe a couple of weeks in the summer, the rest of the time in storage.

12-14 weekends for dog shows; 2 weeks each for camping. If it was not for the damn dog shows I'ld still have my Chris Craft Connie! Being on the boat can never be replaced by a motorhome.

If we're not at a dog show... we're lost!
