If it were me I would purchase the Bridgestone's. They are a great tire. I have four of them on the drive axle with Dyna Beads inside.

However, the model I have is the RF250 and they are the 295x80Rx22.5 size.

I cannot comment on other Bridgestone models.

Excellent tire. After all the research I did when last searching for tires, and all the tire threads on IRV2, I consider the Michelin and Bridgestone to be equivalent. They are also truly have national distribution, so should be reasonably available when on the road.

When I purchased last the Bridgestones were somewhat cheaper so I was surprised that you found the Michelin's were cheaper, even with the FMCA program.

Ok DW & I just returned from having the coach inspected and finally some cracks were found on one of the front tires. No cracking at all on the rear 6. Date code (2509) So we went and replaced the two front with new Cooper Roadmaster 22.5 highway tread. The same tire that is used on 18wheelers and school buses. $345.00 each / $856.00 M/B. We are running 105psi in all tires and it gives a smooth ride. At the end of the year we are going to replace the other 6 with the same tire. Happy Camping!

My Bridgestone quote is for the R250F in the 19.5 inch size. It is 2730.00 out the door for all 6, and includes 216.00 for the tire protection plan.

Are you stating that Tire Coverage will also cover body damage from a blow-out?

Inquiring minds would like to know because if it does along with everything else that can get damaged in a blow-out, wiring, steps, slides, etc. it would be WELL worth the little extra cost.

A good tire shop is the key. But how to find one? Anybody can put a tire on a rim or stare at a tire to 'inspect' it and offer an 'expert' opinion.
My last SUV came with new tires and a terrible shake between 70 & 80MPH. It took three dealerships and three Firestone tire shops to track it down to a visible defect in the tread.
I am inclined to look at truck tire shops that do this all day long. However, doing something often does not equate to doing it well.

Has anyone else gotten a quote on FMCA Michelins where the dealership's huge installation costs blew away any savings?

Need 4 G670 Goodyear 275/70 R22.5 for 2004 Diplomat. The one on it are 8 years old. Camping World wants $3550. installed. Even with $40. mail in rebate from Goodyear, I would like to find a better price. Live in Carson City area. Any help?

I went to a Goodyear dealer and he says the G670's are discontinued. I don't know enough to dispute the guys claim. I am not sure if I should go for the Goodyear G647's at 365 or for the Bridgestone's R250F at 350 a tire. Both are good tire.

I wouldn't go to camping world...find a good truck shop. I am not familiar with your area or I would recommend one.

Have Goodyear G670 275/70/22.5 on now going on 10years date code 11/05, have 49000 on them. They have 8/32 and no signs of cracking, started river wear around 30000 on front, rotated to back. One tire with river wear now has a strange sharp line halfway around outside edge tread, so I figure its time for new, otherwise I'd run another year as tire shop last year said they were in great shape after rotation. Replacing with Hercules Tires @ $ 1830 plus tax
