Previous rig was a Newmar with their own design. Only problem we had was a warranty repair an ex-dealer did. Did find out that their repair was catching on the carpet. One I fixed that we had no troubles.
The present rig has HWH and the only trouble we've had was the bedroom slide AFTER Cummins NW broke two shocks and an interior door. The consensus among CC repair techs is that Cummins hit a bump too hard or went over a curb. I think I've got it fixed now though.

Thanks for the responses. I wasn't familiar with Power Gear and will do some research.
I'm not afraid of slides but want to go with a new improved system,or proven system.
I do my own maintenance so I have a habit of checking everything, probably too often. With everyone's help I think my search will be easier as I will have the info I need.

We observe the 5 second rule. After its in or out and stops moving (LISTEN for its noise pattern) count to 5 before you release the button.
