How to clean/lube wiper seals

The wiper seals along the top of my slide outs are hanging up sometimes, not flipping in the right direction as the slide comes in. Part of it will bunch up against the outer slide seal and I get a water leak when raining. Need to wipe them down but can't get to them from the inside and I have slide toppers that are in the way if trying to get to them when the slide is out. Do I have to take the slide toppers off or is there a way for me to get some slide seal lube on there?

I had this same problem. In my case, we attached an old tee shirt to the end of a push broom handle than spayed lubricate all over it and, than repeatedly wipe from both sides and did all seals after that including bay doors...

I use glycerin to lube the seals to keep them in good shape, always worked on my classic cars. I had a seal that wouldn't flip so I placed a piece of white Velcro tape ("fuzzy side") diagonally across the side of the slide, worked like a charm. Don't wax and polish the sides of the slide or it will make it too slick to grip & flip the seals
