How to determine used RV quality

I am looking to purchase a used diesel pusher for around 100k. How can I compare quality between units?

Most manufacturers use the same components, so you won't see a lot of difference. The difference in fit and finish is the main 'tell.' But in a used unit, as you are interested in, previous owner care and maintenance is much more important. Ask for maintenance/service records. If you use the chassis VIN number, Engine and transmission numbers, you can contact the manufacturer and find out if recalls or issues have been dealt with.

Check the roof and all caulked joints, looking for upkeep and maintenance of those areas. Hire a professional inspector, you're spending as much as a house costs, why not have an expert's help?

First you have to start with something of quality go past the eye catching paint. The chassis, engine is it big enough, roof what's it made of, tires how old. Generally if brand (A) was more expensive than band(B) new its probably better quality used. Don't get in a hurry, take a lot of time test drive the different chassis, floor plans you like and figure out a general coach $100,000 should give you a wide range of used DP.

How to determine used RV quality

There are known brands which only produced very expensive, high quality coaches. If they have been maintained well, then what used to sell for $500K - 1 Million new, now sells for your target of 100K

Check out some examples currently for sale now.
