Bob- As has been stated, the dealer will pay wholesale without even seeing the unit. I traded in a 1997 Southwind for a 2004 Meridian in Feb '04. The Southwind had a wholesale value of $40K. One dealer offered $28K (said that's what traffic would bare), the one I traded with offered $40K and was $9K cheaper on the new one than the first dealer. That was a total of $21K difference between the two dealers, do some shopping around and you don't even have to have your unit with you. The only thing the dealer really looked at when I got there with my trade-in was the ceiling (looking for water stains). Good luck shopping.
