How to Hand crank the Slide-out

I have a 1999 Allegro Bus 39. The large slide-out somehow will crank in during a problem or failure in the motors. The manual is vague, I found a crank of sorts but cannot find a place to connect it.

Appreciate assistance, thanks!

Is there a little slot under the kitchen cabinet? My 96 has a slot and in the bottom of that cabinet is an eyelet to hook the cable too and then straight across and underneath my couch on the slide out is another eyelet.

The book indicates under the slide but I cannot find a spot where the darned thing would hook. My kitchen is on the other side, assume you mean inside the coach?

Guess I need to search around inside more. The dinette and a sofa are on the slider, I'll look tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.

Picture of motor

View image: IMG 20150917 181854950

Here is a picture of the motor, there is one, not two as I thought. Slight fluid drip there, not wet below in the compartment so it must have leaked a little when I closed the slide, it was open for a long time. Perhaps that lug on the end is what I would use? No was the long handle I have will work in it.

Wonder if it's prudent to carry an extra motor.
