After reading all of this all I can say is Weigh it---Weigh it, to know where you are and what PSI to run in your tires. When I got my coach the first thing I did was to ditch the 8 year old tires and get a new set of Michelin 295/80R22.5 XZA2 with a max PSI of 120lbs. I had my coach weighted at the FMCA Rally in Albany, Or (4 corner wt) and I am over wt in the rear by 1150lbs and under in the front by 730lbs, with a combined wt of 33,620lbs.
FR 6,405lbs--FL 6,065lbs
RR 10,195lbs--LR 10,955lbs
I was told to run 105lbs in the front and 100lbs in the rear. They gave me a print out of my coach wts and the air pressure to run. This is the only way to get a true wt reading and know what PSI to run, money well spent. Must be the new steel and copper radiator to be over on the LR and not the way the wife packed the coach
I have moved some of the heavy things from the rear slide out tray to the front slide out tray then will get it reweighed this year.
The next thing on my list of have to get are new Koni SP3 or Road Kings, just one more thing for the money pit.

I just got these numbers comfirmed by a LVRVLUVR. Many of you suggest that I start with inflating the tires at a high pressure, releasing 5psi at a time and experimenting the same road over & over till I find the sweet spot. BUT NEVER DEFLATE LOWER than recommanded by the tire manufacturer. In my case, it is 82 psi.

So I shall do just that. And a few other things... we'll see!

Winnie Adventurer here. Installed a rear Blue Ox Tiger Track, a front TruCenter, and Sumo Springs on all four corners after weighing and adjusting tire pressure and a new alignment. Drives like a dream. Smooth and no sway.

I must be reading a different thread.
It seemed to me that most were recommending you actually weigh your rig then adjust air pressure based on your tire manufacturer charts. Even LVRVLUVR.

I guess I am only hearing what I want to hear.

ask a general question... get a general answer...

ask a specific question and get a specific answer..

I owned a 26 he winnabago.. lowering the air pressuer causes them to sway/// side wall flex...

I say fix the problem first then adjust the pressure down slowly to get where it does everything good..

don't lower air pressure in the tires to compensate for bad /miss applied shocks

No one suggested to "start with inflating the tires at a high pressure" as Tricolor stated above.

Many suggested getting weighed, then set the tire pressure accordingly.
I guess he has something against getting weighed and that's OK with me.

I still don't know what the question was that was 'specific' or 'general'?

Oh, I see.
You recommended "start with inflating the tires at a high pressure, releasing 5psi at a time and experimenting the same road over & over till I find the sweet spot" in a Private Message that we could not see here.
