HR vs Monaco

Is the Holiday Rambler Scepter the cousin of the Monaco Camelot? If not, which Monaco does it match up with? There don't seem to be a lot of Scepters for sale out there.

You don't say what model year you are looking at. Neither Camelot nor Scepter are listed as 2012 models on the Monaco website. They appear to have been available in 2011 but don't show in the current line. Historically, I believe the Camelot was the least expensive item in the Monaco luxury lineup (after Windsor was eliminated) and Scepter was the highest priced item in the Holiday Rambler "standard" lineup. But that was back before Monaco filed Chapter 11.

I am curious about this too. I am looking at a 2004 Scepter but cannot find much on that model. I hope we aren't looking at the same coach. :-)

If you look at the 2005 Monaco CAMELOT Series M-40PST 400HP - 40'6"(CAMELOT,MH,All Floor Plans,1) Standard Equipment, Prices & Specs - NADAguides you will see that the most expensive Scepter and Camelot in 2005 had MSRP of $268k and $261k, respectively. So your assumption that they were essentially the same coach is reasonable.

I looked at that and was surprised the low retail for the Scepter was $20k higher then the Camelot. Unfortunately the add disappeared from craigslist after just two days.

Don't know about now, but a year or two ago, the Sceptor was #3 in the HR lineup behind the Navigator and Imperial.
