Hurricane 2007 - Engine quit

Traveling the freeway at 60 mph - engine quit - no headlights or emergency lights, all gauges frozen ( speedometer still reads 60mph, RPMs at 3) No sounds or lghts when you turn on keys, Had it towed and batteries were check and are fully charged. Tried flipping every switch we could find - no results. Anyone have a similiar experience? Any ideas as what the problem may be? Thanks and Happy New Year

Welcome to IRV 2. Sorry to hear about your problem but it would sure help if you told us what engine you had. Hopefully someone here can assist.

Certainly sounds like a bad ground to me. Not sure if that would kill the engine though.

It's something stupid.

Sounds like a possible Battery Control Center chassis disconnect solenoid failure but the frozen dash is strange. You could try by passing the BCC with jumper cables. Check all the chassis fuses also in both fuse panels, particularly the big amp fuses and fusible links.

I would start with the Ignition switch and ECC.
