HWH 310 Series

Hi all,
I have an HWH series 310 leveling system with air susp dump. The dump feature stopped working. All other functions work fine. Checked the 7.5 fuse (good). What is next step?
Thanks

HWH 310 Series

Do you have a manual dump button on the panel? If that doesn't work either, then I would find the valve underneath the coach and check to see if it is getting voltage when activated. (I believe it is a valve with a short hose just venting into the air.)

NOTE: Be sure to account for the fact that the system may work when you are messing with it and you do not want to be under the coach if it does. Be sure to have the rig blocked or jacked up!

Thanks for the response. I have no power to the dump fuse on the control box. I have the wiring diagram so i isolated that circuit from the box. I can dump the air now but it is from an added switch supplying 12v to the 4 dump valves. I can only guess its a bad board in the control box. As the box has 12v feed and everything else works. Still have to test things before I buy a control box or pad.

Wayne,

Sounds like you are making progress. Have you downloaded the troubleshooting manual from HWH? It is very good and take you through the steps to a conclusion very well. You can download them from their website.

check the wire on the back of the touch pad that supplies the 12 volt to the control box to sump air. if you have 12 volts at the supply wire into the control pad and none out, replace the touch pad. wire locations are shown in the 210 service manual.
please feel free to call me for further assistance if needed, 602-549-3638
i do work for hwh. i do not sell parts or solicit service work. i do diagnostics.

I looked at there trouble shooting manual. It doesn't show my pad. It says 305/325. I have a 310? Not really understanding the manual Yet. It wants me to check led lights in control box. Does this mean open the box? Stupid question. Then it says what pins to check for power or ground. I'll try that after labor day. My bandage works. I mess with it now and who knows what I can mess up.
Thanks

The control box should have a clear plastic cover, and it will look something like this.

Yeah that would be nice. My control box is an aluminum case. Kind of looks like an inverter with the ribbed housing. I haven't looked yet to see if I can crack it open. I'll let you know.
thanks

Wayne, is this your system? http://www.hwhcorp.com/ml10044.pdf

Azpete had a good suggestion about checking the back of your panel. Others have said their plugs had vibrated loose. Easy four screws to lift the panel. If the above is your system, I would check those two white wires on the post for a good connection.

Yes that is the one I have. I did look on the back of the pad. I just wiggled the plugs. There are a lot of wires on it. Tomorrow i will look close at the white wires. Let ya know what I find.
thanks

Seems like all wires are tight and in place . Seeing no power at the dump fuse on control box seems it would indicate a bad box. Going to cycle the system a few times and see if any other function quits working. Found a Control box at Stuarts Service. That is the manual that came with RV. May have to just take the hit and buy a box. 300.00
