Hwh jack
2003 ALLERGO BAY HWH jack trouble. Levels fine jacks will not come back up. The store light is on the dash, no bad fuses, the 4 valves are warm on the pump housing. When the T valve was open they came up. Leveled it again same thing happened. This time right rear would not come up. Opened the line it took the presure off the jack came up.

There is a post about cleaning the "shuttle valve "? and the problems related to it being partially plugged. I'll try and find it and direct you to it.

Is this a new problem with your jacks or did you just get the motorhome. Did they retract [work] properly before your post? If you can supply a model number we can find the manual for you and also the troubleshooting guide. Let us know... Good luck..

I have had this retract problem. First, have the engine running to put a higher voltage on the retract selenoid valves. But what worked for me for the past 3 years, once or twice a rear, with jacks down, spray the jack seals with ArmorAll. My theory is, this softens the ageing rubber seals on the jacks.
Many do not like useing ArmorAll, but I have used it on my 1965 Corvette since new and it has worked for me.

try putting some kind of lube on the cylinder shaft. any kind will do. if that helps, do it about every three months. do you have the new style springs? if they have a squared off ends, replace them this will be a help. with all the jacks not retracting, or intermittently. this will be the first step. there may be an intermittent loss of 12 volts from the touch panel to the conrtol box. sometimes electralosis causes a loss of power. unplug the touch panel and replug it. see if that helps. download a sercice manual for your system and go thru the diagnosis. if that doesnt help. you can contact me at pfmaddox@att.net. 1-602-549-3638 i work for hwh as a traveling rep.
