hwh jack won't extend

I had a jack that would not retract all the way. Used procedure in the HWH manual to retract it. Now it won't extend. Waiting on call back from hwh thought I would check here to see if anyone had any answers

Had the same issue with my Ventana and your problem is probably a faulty solenoid. You should have a solenoid for each of the jacks and per HWH, you can switch the wire from a good jack to the one that does not work. Stay with front to front or rear to rear

It worked for me.

Extend it again then spray it with WD40 & wipe the chrome cylinder down with a clean cloth. I do this about once a month & it has cured my non-retract problems.

Agree with the WD & wipe process but the OP said that the jack will not extend.

Is the pump running? Did you tighten the screw/valve that you loosened to retract the jack?
