HWH Leveling Jack System Question

I've seen others recommend using blocks under the jacks for lobg term / winter storage. Recommend blocking w chassis aired up then dumping the air to take some load off tires. Seems like a good idea to minimize flat spots...

Got to wondering if there would be any negative affects of placing the coach load on a fully retracted jack cylinder?
Guessing not but thought best to ask.

How many follow the above practice?
Any issues?

Hoping AZPETE checks in and offers some expert insights.

I would say the surface you will be storing your unit on would determine whether blocks should be used., example, outside on soil yes, outside on packed gravel maybe and definitely aired down before extending the jacks.
My personal choice is aired up jacks fully extended not on blocks indoor on concrete, makes annual serving easier including lubrication of a fully extended jack cylinder. I will cycle the jacks several times during my brief winter storage to keep the seal around the jack cylinder lubricated.

I currently have a problem with my DS jacks, so am doing what you are asking. Putting blocks under the retracted jacks and then dumping the air suspension. Works fine.
