In a campground since Wednesday. No problems. This morning motorhome jack on right front suddenly started leaking down, oil running down jack, possibly from top of jack. Left jack also suddenly leaked a small amount but not as much as the right. What gives ???

Is it cold there? Strange that two jacks would do this at the same time, temperature is one of the common variables. Don't mess with them if your slideouts are extended.

When you find the red puddle on the ground, look above it to find a loose connection or a broken/cracked hose. It's gonna be a little messy to repair, but not hard. \ken

It was 21 degrees this morning. Jacks on front just started letting the coach down. I looked at the jacks and hyd oil was running down on jack pads. I've owned this coach since it was new and have never had this happen before.

Clean off all fittings on top of jack. Run them and watch to see where the fluid is coming from. I would bet on cold shrinkage. Probably only needs tightening.

If the jack is still extended at all there is still pressure on it. Be careful not to loosen anything and relieve pressure while you are under the coach. You might want to get jackstands or blocks or something that will handle the weight to put under the frame while you are working on it unless you have hit retract on the control panel and have all the weight back on the suspension and nothing on the jacks
