HWH Series 200 Leveling Jacks

I have HWH Series 200 leveling jacks on my 1999 Winnebago Adventurer. My question is, were they designed with a slant to the outside edge as opposed to being straight up and down? Some others I've seen appear to be a whole lot lighter in material but straight up and down. Mine seem to be a more stable design but I just want to be sure they aren't made that way from abuse.

My 310 series , actually have a pivot point, that allow about 5 degrees of pivot, at the jack mount as the pad hits the ground. They are angled out slightly and the pivot allows just a touch more.
