Do you detect any leaks around the jacks or around where your reservoir is located?
If not, perhaps you have internal leaks around the valves, etc. You might call HWH ((800) 321-3494)and see of they can offer any thoughts.

After seven years, you might need some "rebuilding" of your jacks. We were close to Moscow, Iowa a couple of years ago, and obtained four rebuilt jacks for the price of one new one. Just a thought.

Sounds to me like air in the system. Air may be compressed, liquid cannot. When you retract the jacks and/or slides it compresses the air bubble, then that pressure moves the jacks and slide as it attempts to equalize.
