HWH Tech Call

Called HWH for help with leveling system after exhausting all available web site info, testing and procedures, that was 10 working days ago. Called today, said they are just getting to"my days list" today. I get it, lots of equipment out there, busy time of the year etc. etc. But this seems excessively long.
Is this the same for others??

Unfortunately, that's the norm for HWH! The up side is that once you get them, they are very knowledgeable and helpful, at least that was my experience! Hang in there!

There's a member on this forum called AZPete. He's an HWH tech and has been most helpful and responsive when I needed help.

UPDATE

I must be fair and update my OP. HWH did call me back and the service/info I received was SPECTACULAR, while it takes a week or more to get a call back, once you have them on the line THEY KNOW THEIR PRODUCT.

An example of a company servicing what they sell. BRAVO! and thanks to HWH!

No, it's not that way with PowerGear. They won't call you at all. (They will send you an email, however.)

They've called me on a few occasions a few years ago when I had an issue that required it . They've called a few others as I recall. They're email response time is unmatched. Usually within an hour.

Took me 10 day's last year at this time. They do call back but I guess they are that busy.
My problem was fixed at the Winnebago factory along with a couple other things. But it was 10 day's for HWH to get back. Check that AZ Pete. Good Luck!

I had a problem with the HWH 625 system on our coach while on the road. I was ready to head for home but could not get the slides in! The valve solenoids clicked, but the hydraulic pump would not run.

I called HWH and told them my situation. Within 15 MINUTES an HWH tech called me back! He knew the system like the back of his hand. He talked me through a number of troubleshooting steps until we ultimately determined that a control relay had failed. I ended up using my jumper cables to power the hydraulic pump while a helper held the proper switches in the coach to operate the slides.

Had the pleasure of meeting Paul (AZ Pete) at his place of business in Paulden, AZ (25 mi south of Ash Fork on I-40). Replaced a valve, jack springs and adjusted my big slide for a VERY reasonable price. I highly recommend him and also saved me a trip to Moscow, IA Unfortunately I do not have his number handy since I'm on the road but, if you search this forum, I'm sure you can find it. I know I got it someplace on IRV2. Also can park at his place while work is done. Great guy. If your out west and have HWH problems, he's your man.

I think palehorse found the number. Give him a call. His name is Paul Maddox and he is a field rep for HWH and a personal friend of the factory owner. He does have a business and does more than HWH work. His parts prices to you would be the same as HWH.
