Hydraulic pump

I have a holiday rambler 2013 ambassador. Recently what I believe to be the hydraulic pump near the front under the drivers seat has been running a lot. Last time out it ran while driving for over an hour. I had to shut off both sets of batteries to stop it. Anyone have an idea what could be the problem?

Glad you're aboard. Have you checked the fluid level? Any visible leaks? Best of luck finding an answer. Enjoy your adventures and be safe.

Turn on the ignition switch. Press down on the brake pedal. You will hear the pump running for the brakes. I believe this is what you are hearing. This pump runs when the engine dies to give you power steering and brakes. It is not supposed to run when the engine is running. Get back to us with your results and we will go from there.
