Take a look at Oasis, they should be able to answer all of your questions... and read this page n their website. Frequently Asked Questions | International Thermal Research

Can an Oasis be retrofitted to an existing motorhome?

Yes, the Oasis CH50 and Combi can be retrofitted into any Class-A motorhome. Please remember that either system is a complete replacement of your coach’s existing heating and domestic hot water system. These systems may increase your storage space as well as the Oasis supplies hot water on demand and no hot water storage is necessary.

Can I install an Oasis system on my own?

Yes, our Installation Manuals will guide you through the entire heating system installation including mounting location, plumbing, wiring and switching the heater on for the first time. It is important to follow proper installation instructions or the warranty will be voided.

Found this... In the article he built his own, but should give some good ideas...

The web page has some bad html tags, and so won't show in a browser. I was able to save a copy and fix it locally so that I could get you this screenshot. I sent the author an email on how to fix it, hopefully he does so quickly. You can google the article and maybe he will have fixed, or try the wayback machine to find an old cached copy.

Putting in a HH system in a coach without one would be major surgery. My coach has seven vents, each with two fans, and miles of water and electrical lines. Plus it will take one entire basement compartment, that would have to have all the lines noted above, plus fuel lines for the diesel burner. The problem would be how to get all those lines to the vents and fuel tank.

I have asked the same question at some seminars we have been to to ..The various suppliers ie: hydro hot .. oasis . aquahot . said it would be cheaper to trade motorhomes than to try to retrofit
