I am looking to buy a 2013 Forest River Charleston 430BH need feedback please!!

I am looking to purchase a 2013 Forest River Charleston 430 BH.

It only has 5241 miles on it and I can get it for $195k.

Has anyone had any experience with this model? It has the 450 C. diesel.

I have 4 younger kids 13 and under so the bunk model really makes sense.

Trying to figure out if this is a good deal? Low retail on nada is $206k and this unit is in perfect condition.

How do they hold their value against others in the same price range? Just curious what I should expect if I try and sell it in 3 yrs with say 50k miles on it?

Thx in advance for your help!

forest river is consider a low quality coach in its class from what we saw when we were looking.

not that there bad just not the highest quality. at 195k and essentially new is a good price.
floor plan is very important- engine and chassi are next- all other stuff is just bragging rights saying you have it. the next class jump is 50k to 75k (talking new) -
saving that kinda doe and still having basically a new coach with those certain criteria feels good if you ask me. good luck

I am looking to move up to one of these BH as well - and we like the FR Charleston layout, quality, and roominess with the opposing slides...

let me know what you find out, and if you indeed purchase one...

I looked at Forest River gas coach once and was not impressed with any of the quality inside and moved on quickly.

We did buy the Charleston and absolutely love it!!! The bunk beds are a huge hit with the kids and they live that they can be in them while we are traveling down the road.

I have had two other Monaco Diplomats prior to purchasing this coach and feel it is the same quality. The tile floors are awesome and the higher 7 ft ceilings make it very roomy.

I pulled our 25 ft boat through the mountains and it has done great!

Anyway we have put about 10k miles on it since May and never Had any problem.

I may sell it come the end of October as my dad and I bought it together and he is looking to build a cabin that we could use more permanently. I hate to do it, but the cabin will get a lot of use as well.

If you are still looking then let me know!

Thanks

Will
