I broke my Sea Breeze today

My shirt sleeve caught the locking latch on my Dometic fridge door and broke it off. The magnetic seals hold it closed, but if anything suddenly shifts while I'm driving, I'm afraid it will come open.

If it's not clear, it is a RM2652(Americana). I want it to look like the top latch in the second picture. The handle has two screws that I hope removes just the handle and latch. Does anybody know where I can get one or have a spare/extra?

Here is a parts breakdown.
http://www.gas-refrigerators.com/pdf/RM2652-parts.pdf

PPL has a new handle for $14.33

They don't list your product number, but your handle part number crosses to this one. I would call them to verify you are getting the correct part.
HANDLE,DOOR USE 3851174023 BLACKPrice:$14.33

I will admit I'm guilt of not searching at all. Been busy enjoying my time here at the dunes west of Yuma.

Second link won't load in any of my browsers, but part #8 "2932093038 Handle, black" on page 3 & 4, on the first link, is the part I need. I will search locally or ebay when I get home.

Thanks for the link. Saved the pdf of my fridge.

Also, I have found "anyrvparts.com", an ebay store, to have most parts I've needed.

Till you get the replacement, if you have to move see if there is a handy place you can anchor a couple of "S" hooks to one on each side and string a common cargo strap scross the door to old it closed.

We do that (using bungee cords, which can also be used here) to hold cabinets closed when treaveling.

I've got plenty of bungee cords and a spot picked out to hook them it to. Testing it now. The door does have good magnetic seals. If I hold a round tooth pick midway, and use it to try to open the door, it will break before the door opens.

Tape can leave residue and/or take off paint and/or wood and /or Sadie sleeps most of the way here and home.

Some of these have never been used. I have coat and flashlight hooks by the door.

I also have two un-used packs of those removable plastic thingies with the pull starter tabs.

If I was in ole country, we would say Baarooke - Feexe!
But since I don't know what the ole country is, I just say: Jerry-Rigged... or something like that.
