I also fitted Foil bubble insulation under inside the front dash through the hood access.
Also bought a case (6 cans from Ebay) of 3m heavy duty Rubberised undercoating...don't get the cheap $4 a can stuff, It's about $7 a can.

noise and heat insulation

Thanks, I'm heading down the same sort of route but on the inside I think I will cover the dog house with leather look sound mat I found. I don't have carpeting on the top of the dog house it is just the thin plastic. I just finished the co pilots camera system, she wanted to monitor the back and sides but couldn't see the built in monitor. Next is inside noise and heat control. I would post a picture of what I did but haven't figured that one out.

vetterod, do you mind sharing a picture of your setup? I'm redesigning my center console on my 2015 GeorgetownXL and I'm looking to accomplish the same thing.

Thanks

Johnnya, although we haven't done all the mechanical upgrades that you have(yet), we have spent alot of money just outfitting it with new stuff we need(including extra clothing) so it will always be ready to roll. I decided to wait a year and see how it handles for us before doing some of the things you have done. The bottom line is there are two ways I enjoy spending my money, one is a Christmas shopping for my family, and two is on my Motorhome. The rest of stuff, houses, cars ect is just a nuisance and I can tend to be a tightwad when it comes to those things. So I would say money well spent and enjoy it.

I will post some pics soon, right now we are trying to figure out how to protect our new ride from the storms headed into the great lakes. I need a few days to fit the new insulation to the panels and get some switches installed.

Going overboard and being an RVer seem to go hand in hand when enjoyed correctly....enjoy the journey.
