We recently bough a 2008 Beaver Contessa and love it. We didn't want the bath and a half and we travel with grandkids some times. Lacking the extra bath gives us a reason to send them to the CG's bath house :-) I really like having a tag axle for the reasons stated, in fact it was on the must have list. Also my wife wanted booth dining versus the table chairs. We luckily found a used unit that is pretty much the way we would have ordered one. We have hydronic heat and didn't have it at the top of the wants list. Now having it makes us appreciate the bonus. Always hot water, but more importantly quiet heat in the winter as there's no cycling heat pump.

Best of luck,

My son and wife just came out from Fla to Ca. 2006 Pace Arrow. Dual winsheld.
Pick up a stone chip on the way out passenger side.

Had an expoxy fill done before return trip.
I road tripped back to Fla with them. We picked up another stone chip on the driver's side.

The one piece glass is beautiful. Just a whole lot more expensive to replace
