Idiot light bulb change to LED

I find the dash idiot lights to be less than acceptable. The letters in words displayed are not all lit up.

Has anyone replaced the bulb with LED and what was the result?

I was wondering how many times while driving do your "idiot" lights illuminate?

I think the labor and cost is prohibitive guessing that the idiot lights only light up when you start your coach but, on the other hand, if they light up all the time then you have "REAL" problems that won't cure themselves with a light bulb swap.

Does your idiot light even use bulb size/type that is available in led?

I'm guessing you are talking about the general dash display and not the "idiot lights" that only come on to warn of problems like low voltage or overheating.

Yes, that is what I am talking about. But they do light for engine pre-heat, exhaust brake and low air.

About 4 years ago I changed out all of my dash lights, a total of 19. When the sun hit the dash could not see any of the light at start up or going down the road. I place tape over the MT holes then removed one at a time and checked because they are Polarity Sensitive. Went with the white because the color is in the dash. Your dash may be different.
