If you had $500k available what would you buy?

Just curious that if you had $500,000 available, what would you buy? For me I would go with the Entegra Cornerstone, buy how about you?

Lol - I would buy a Cruisers Yacht. The only reason I am into RV is because I do not have 500K to waste.

If I had to pick an RV it would be the newest Prevost the 500k would buy.

First impressions on the Winnebago Tour 42 GD look quite good. Would even have a few bucks left over for fuel....

I couldn't agree more. Entegra Cornerstone and still have money leftover to pay sales tax and travel.

Spend about $200k on a DP and invest the other $300k

If $500 K fell into my lap, I would start my retirement immediately. Heck, come to think of it an extra $75 K would do it. No change to MH necessary so wouldn't do it.

I'd go with something Prevost-based. Some very nice stuff to be had if you've got 500k to spend. Might "only" have two slides... but that'd work for me!

I'm with ysheetz, we're in the odd position of having an older coach that does exactly what we want it to do. i.e. head down dirt county roads with 3 dogs and one of our Jeeps in search of those great boondocking locations or county/state parks

Kind of weird maybe but we have absolutely no "coach envy".

I'd spend 20k to update my MH with everything I want including new paint, then I would invest remaining 480k, and got FT now instead of October.

I'd say a used American Eagle 45 for $200,000 and invest the rest in something like Annuity's.

If I were going to spend it on an RV I would go after a used Newell, or a little less used Foretravel, depending on which I found that I like.

Used Travel Supreme Select Limited ('07/'08) on the proven K3 Spartan chassis and even more proven Cummins ISX. Coach is loaded and you will have $200k (+/-) for your stacker to haul your toys in. Great coach, that is why they still exist, though under the Entegra name. Many seeking out the TS's because of their quality. In the price you mentioned, remember K3, K3. Some great coaches out there in same price range, such as Country Coach, Monaco, but beware of those with brand specific chassis that are no longer made. JMHO.

I'd go for a used Newell; you can't buy a new one for $500k. They're completely custom made for each owner and are sold factory direct to the customer and made in the USA in Oklahoma. They build the chassis as well as the coach in house instead of buying a rolling bus like a Prevost.
Of course there is nothing wrong with the Prevost, but it starts out as a commercial bus and then modified by coach builders. It's great but the coach builders that use it are limited in what they can do with it.
Newell has a feature I've never seen on any other; the center floor between the slides raises and lowers to insure a flat floor at all times with slides in or out.
Their are only 15 Newell's listed on RV Trader nationwide, all used from $1.475m for a used 2013 to $13K for a 1970 30' gas.
