Rickmc, not sure if you have any RV experience but we just moved to a DP MH from a 41 ft 5th Wheel and it is way easier to drive than the Pickup Truck with the 41 ft 5 the wheel behind it. I find that I can drive farther also as the thing floats down the road and the seats are very cushy so less butt fatigue.

About 10 years ago, we did the 2100 mile thing from Minneapolis to Sacramento.

Both of us drove and we used truck stops for the overnight sleep. Easy in and easy out.

With two drivers it can be done easily if breakdowns are avoided.

Too old to do that now.... :(
