No, I can't. Have a mobile RV service person come to the unit and pay him to check everything out. You or your son needs to be looking over his shoulder with a video camera and taking notes.

If it comes with or you can get a manual, go over everything in it, two of three times, and find out what every button and knob does. Check the slides, AC, dash AC, heater, furnace, water heater, toilet, faucets, microwave, stove, burners, vents, plumbing, audio/video system, etc. Look for water damage, especially around the windshield. Some years are known to have extensive rust around the windshield frame.

Winnebago is an excellent motorhome for the $ - good value.

There have been many posts on this forum to help you. Here are some things to consider:

1.0 Tires - check date codes. If over 10 years old, replace them.
2.0 Assume you will do a full service on the drivetrain - new fluids and filters everywhere.
3.0 Check undercarriage and storage compartments for rust. Surface rust is to be expected, and can be easily repaired.
4.0 Winnies tend to develop rust around the windshield. Pull the mouldings off and take a look. Again, I wouldn't be afraid of minor surface rust. Holes, on the other hand, may be another issue, but still repairable. You could have a glass shop check it for you for a few $'s.
5.0 Check sealants at front and rear of cap, and along roof seams above awning rails. This requires periodic maintenance. Hopefully there have been no leaks.
6.0 Turn on the basement air, and then go to back passenger side of coach, and stick your hand up behind the rear cap, feeling for leaks in the air duct. They tend to separate.

This is a quick list, but in no way should it scare you off. All of the above items can be dealt with - but good to consider these things when you make your final offer.

My opinion is that this model and year coach can be an excellent value, from a good manufacturer. Save some money to adress the above items if any are present -- and then go for it!
