Info Needed on 1994 Thor Residency Purchase

I've found a 1994 Thor Residency for sale, asking price $15,500. It LOOKS in excellent shape and has only 7k miles on it. The seller has owned it since 1996 and just didn't use it much. I'm becoming aware that the price is high for this model and vintage, but I'm also concerned that there are likely a host of hidden problems that only owners of this brand (and model) would be aware of. If anyone is willing to offer suggestions about what I should look for, expect, and weigh in my decision whether to purchase or not, I would be most grateful for their response. Thank you in advance.

Personally speaking... I would stay away from it. Being a 94 with 7k means it sat for a very long time with no use. Nothing worse for these rigs than idle time. I would expect routine maîtenence was also forgone. Tires would most likely be shot as well if original and with such low mileage they probably are. My guess is once you have a qualified tech or mechanic go they it with a fine tooth comb the 15k price tag will have significantly skyrocketed just to get it safe and reliable .

Its conceivable to me you could have enough $$$ in a 20 yearold Thor is buy a newer and more reliable motorhome. JMHO
