Condolence to you and for your brother.

You mentioned it may have been parked due to engine trouble. I did not notice milage being listed nor if it's a carbed engine [due to its year it probably is]. I did notice mentions of other costly problems.

From what you have so far shared, if it were me, I'd most likely sell it cheap or donate it ... or ... etc.

I do really like classic/vintage boats, VR, cars, trucks. I have six assorted types [1967 to 1996]. That said, I only purchase, then improve and then use each if it is already in darn good, well maintained condition.

Over the many decades of my life I learned that if older vehicles of any sort are taken on when they needed too much improvement = Trouble, Trouble, Trouble!

Best luck!

NADA states that it cost $77,000.00 new. and now is worth $8550 to $10,300.00. I hope the tow truck driver dropped he driveshaft, otherwise, you might have trans problems. It's probably Ford, Chevy or Dodge powered, and parts can be gotten at any parts store. Drain the gas tank, and put in new gas. I don't think that the fuel pump is in the tank on that model.. Take off the air cleaner, and spray in some ether, and replace the air cleaner. If it starts, turn it off and change the oil and filter. Check the radiator for coolant. I have an 1987 Pace Arrow 34' w/Chevy 455. All of the appliances can be replaced if necessary. You have a real challenge, but that can become a beautiful unit again. Eddie Elk.
