Installed Dishwasher

I installed a Vesta dishwasher in my 2009 Fleetwood Expedition today. Overall the process was not that difficult as I used the location of the former Amana propane oven. I replaced the propane oven with A three burner sealed cooktop as my wife prefers to cook with gas.

I have not installed the water and waste connections as the Coach is winterized and I didn't want to mess with it until we are ready to use it in another month or so.

I have read lots of mixed options on dishwashers, however, we use one at home and thought the water savings in the coach would be worth it.

Looks great, neat that your burner covers still worked on the new 3 burner cook top. Clean install.

As respects to the cooktop I purchased an new unit from a wholesaler who had it hanging around. Finding the same brand made it easier and I didn't have to worry about modifying the gas system at all.

I ordered my Vesta dishwasher from Camping World online store
today. Looking forward to the install. Thank you for your post, I
did not know that an installable dishwasher was available !!
We spend 100+ nights a year traveling, so this will be wonderful !

Good luck! I will try to take a photo of how i installed the dishwasher connector to the drain. The plumbing supply store gave me a great idea which required virtually no cutting of critical piping. Asking the expert was well worth it!

I'll keep an eye out for the plumbing detail. Where did you locate
the power source ? I have a line running under the sink area
that goes to the frig, and am thinking of taping into it with
a receptacle. My only other option is to go off the rear left of
the dishwasher and try to get into the adjacent frig cavity and
share that outlet. thanks again for any guidance.

That's nice!

I'd love to do that, but I'm pretty sure my mother-in-law would keep asking me why the cake isn't baking correctly.

I was going to tap into an existing electrical line as well and then found an available receptacle 4' away and used a 10 gauge short appliance specific extension cord to avoid any issues.

I have attached photos below on the dishwasher waste line which fit in between my two sink drains. All I had to do is cut off about 4" of the left sink drain pipe. I would have installed it in the vertical position, however, there was no room on either side. The plumbing supply store told me there would be no issues.
