Installing an electric fireplace

I am the proud new owner of a 1998 HR Endeavor 37CDS. I am in the process of upgrading and remodeling the interior. I am removing the couch on the dinette side and replacing it with a fireplace TV stand and recline. I am OK with mounting the TV to the stand, and getting the cables and electricity to where I need it, but before I begin, I'd like to know what others have done to secure the cabinet to the floor or wall?

I dont want to go in this blind and make an expensive mistake, or cause injury to myself or my coach. =)

As my dad always said, Measure twice cut once. So consider this query my first measurement. BTW I did search the forum but after 5 pages of irrelevant posts, I gave up and decided to just ask.

Thanks Everyone

Electric fireplace installs have been done by several members here.
He's ours:

An easy surface mount type.

And another:

A built-in look.

The main issues are power feed (proper and aesthetic) and heat path (heat rises, so be cautious).

Best luck

Thanks for the pictures. Would still love to see some free standing units.

Free standing unit we have. From Costco a few years ago. Zero install other than to plug it in. Slides behind the passenger seat when traveling or not in use. Provides good heat and we enjoy the ambiance.
