Insurance
Our insurance went up $250 for the up coming year. Only "one" claim in 10 years, $350 for a broken window. My grandson and his baseball. HaHa Any suggestions as to a new insurance company?

Who do you have now? Safeco is ours, through AAA Carolinas. We have used State Farm and a friend loves Farm Bureau.

Insurance
We purchased our first class A 5 months ago. Dealer got us a quote of around $200 per 6 months through Good Sam (GMAC insurance). Geico (our primary insurer) were quoting over $500 for the same coverage.
Sounded great so we went with GMAC.
3 months later, out of the blue, got an email notification of a change. Logged into the online account and found they had upped the premium to nearly $600 and were requesting immediate payment of $180.
I called them and after numerous calls they finally removed the extra. They told me they had been using the "wrong" tables originally!!! Not my problem and at renewal next month, I'm going back to Geico.

Check with Farm and Cities Insurance Services, Forrest City, IA. They are an insurance brokerage and can find you decent rates and coverages by shopping/comparing different companies for you.

My renewal just came yesterday from GMAC insurance. Would of been my third year with them. Went up almost $300.00 dollars, no claims. Went up $300.00 last year. I think they give a teaser rate at the beginning to get you to sign up. Am going to be shopping around today for new company. Will NOT renew with GMAC!

I went with Good Sams who in turn farmed it out to Allied. Only been with them a month or so AFTER being feedup with Progressive. Also Allied is about 1/3 the cost that Progressive was.

WE just got notice from GMAC yesterday, and our rate also went up about 300.00 dollars......total cost with GMAC was a little over 1800.00/ yr. Called Explorer and got the same coverage for 1305.00 a year. I am going to try a company out of Orlando FL called Gilbert next.

What a racket insurance is!
GMAC wanted $2400.00 a yr, and Progressive wanted $1200.00 a yr and so I went with Progressive. When my policy with Progressive renewed my premium only went up by$25.00.

They did the same to me, only a few days after I paid. I promptly cancelled.
