We had Progressive for last five years, but switched to State Farm last July, primarily because of cost, but also because of coverage. With Progressive, we had "replace with brand new" if our coach was totaled; in addition, Progressive offered "disappearing deductibles" which got us to zero deductibles on both collision and comprehensive by the time we reached our fifth year with them. All that added cost! Then, two years ago my wife had a minor rear end collision in her SUV, which was her fault. no damage to the other vehicle, but her SUV had $5K of damage. Even though her SUV was covered by State Farm, Progressive found out about it and bumped the premium on the coach because of it.

We've had all of our autos, plus our homeowners insured with State Farm for over 30 years. Before we bought our coach, we had an umbrella policy with State Farm as well, but when we decided on Progressive for our coach, State Farm would not sell us an umbrella any more. Now we're back with State Farm, with the Umbrella, which gives us much higher limits than what we had before. Cost for ALL our insurance is about $200 less than before.

So I went with National Interstate and while finalizing the details I found out that the premium was affected by an accident I had even though I wasn't at fault--I was stopped at a stop light and was rear ended. Apparently this drops off after 35 months. All in all still saved a little more than $1000 over Progressive for the same coverage.
