Look for service. We have been GEICO for 30 years. One of their first fulltimers back in 2007. Can we get cheaper?? Probable, however their service has been above and beyond whenever we need them

We just switched to Good Sam, National General is the actual carrier. Best rate I could find by far. As others stated, "your results may vary". I liked Good Sam because I did it all paperless, on line. You can go on their web site, get a firm quote in a few minutes, without needing to speak to anyone. Good place to start, gives you a baseline to work from.

Thank you everyone for your input. We probably will use it 6 months or so. I asked because I'm getting a rate of 2,400 for full coverage. That's a tad bit high. Of course my husband has 2 accidents charged against him. If I leave him off and just insure the MH and my car, it drops. He doesn't drive my car, but he will be driving the MH-not all the time but still driving it. Afraid I have to pay more due to his record. Bummer.

Yes your right. Can't leave him off. As a matter of fact you may find that you can't even leave him off your car. Because he lives at the same address and has access. It may initially go thru but don't be surprised if they come back after it goes thru final underwriting saying he has to be on the car policy. Just a heads up.
