Most folks have their own opinions as to the best insurance. We have Progressive on both cars and the RV. Had a claim last year ( a pole jumped out and hit me while I was backing up!). Progressive had an adjuster out in two days andI got the RV in the shop in a week. RV was in the shop two weeks total. The adjuster came by the shop several times and worked with them to get job done ASAP. I call that outstanding customer service. I pay yearly on the RV and get about a 10% discount. Monthly direct payments on the autos and the price is in-line with other insurers.

Progressive gets my vote!

I like that quote about National Interstate..they actually KNOW what an RV is. You can not go wrong with National Interstate. AND, I added my other vehicles with them as well. It was financially worth it...one windshield on car needed replacing...no questions..just go get it done...etc. And make sure you get uninsured coverage.VERY important..............

Be sure you understand what you are getting.

ASK QUESTIONS...

Some auto carriers are glad to write an RV, but dont tell you that the standard liability/property coverage afforded to "private passenger vehicles" and their usage may have exclusions that would apply to "RV" usage, another, personal property may be limited to what is attached to and forming a part of the RV, so in the event of a loss which might include "contents" (theft or fire etc.) would be filed under your Home policy subject to your home deductible....
