This weekend, I was checking my coach and starting batteries and discovered that one of my coach battery's caps had popped off. I know that I had placed them on tightly. The rig is plugged in 24/7. Batteries are at good charge. Any thoughts?

I have found that the inverter/converter MAY in some cases charge the batteries at too high of a rate and make them gas. I use a small trickle (maintainer) charger on both coach and engine batteries and have no issues with this................ JB
I think a lot of northern RVer's first thing on the list will be checking batteries. I too leave the coach hooked up to power all winter. I'm hoping the inverter/charger is trickle charging low enough to keep the water in the batteries. I know that when boats are hooked up to shore power and owners keep their chargers going 24/7 most guys must add water to their batteries every couple months.
