Interior LED Lighting

We have a 2012 Phaeton with Ceiling lighting of LED lights. The lights are small and round with a thick opaque cover. Some of the lights have stopped working and I would like to replace the LED but I can not get the covers off. I thought the covers just trist off but I can not them to move. Any suggestions?

Keep trying because that is how they come off, maybe a light push up and twist

Wearing one of those elastic surgical type gloves can sometimes help you get better grip

We had the same problem and used one of those rubber jar lid openers. It gives a good purchase on the glass lens. Like the previous poster said, push up a bit and twist counter-clockwise.

Be careful! If they're like ours, they are held in with large wire springs on two sides. THEY WILL BITE YOUR FINGERS LIKE A MOUSE TRAP if you're not careful.

On our '06 TS, I finally got them out too. Pressure up & counter-clock wise twist on the outside ring. Glass just sitting in ring, so get ready to catch ;-)

I have a Tiffin also, and they do twist off I also used a rubber jar lid opener and it worked wonders. Changed out all of the lights.

Thanks guys for the info.

Was just a little nervous of breaking one while I was twisting because I was taking it off incorrectly and cutting the crap out of my hands.

I will try your suggestions tomorrow.
