Intermittent supply from filtered faucet
I have a Hydro Life inline water filter mounted under my kitchen sink that feeds the drinking water faucet and, I think, the icemaker. When I purchased the motorhome (2002 Fleetwood Discovery) the drinking water faucet did not work. I assumed a clogged filter and ordered a new one. After installing the new one with the quick-disconnect fittings, the water still did not flow. There is plenty of flow and pressure to the filet inlet. I tried various trouble-shooting configurations and finally got it to flow to the filter outlet (I honestly don't know what I did - it just squirted out the filter suddenly), the faucet started working and all was fine. Then, a month or so later, no flow to the faucet again.
Does anyone have an idea what is going on here? Are the quick-disconnects finicky or prone to failure?
