Inverter

i have a 2013 winnebago vista with a Zantrex pro 1000 inverter. I have 2 circuits of outlets in the rv. Should the inverter be working all the oultets or just one circuit. right now it works just one group of outlets but there have been times where it works the opposite set of outlets but never together.

On my last two coaches, there was a list of outlets, that came with the coach, that worked on the inverter...some but not all.

you probably also have some on the GFCI outlet circuit, usually the outlet in the bathroom, that also controls other outlets and items. Reset the outlet to restore the power to the rest of the outlets on that circuit.

Inverters up to 2000 watts only power a portion of 110 outlets. Usually on the same side inverter s on. All outlets are powered up by all electric set ups which require one 2500 watt plus six pack of batteries at bare min. All elec. Coaches will also Ron double inverters with min. 3000 watt plus 8 batteries.

Some Xantrex units have circuit breakers on the inverter itself. Check those. You will also have house circuit breakers some where inside the coach. Check those; they usually have labels that tell you if it is an inverter circuit. Then check GFCI outlets.

1000 watts is only about 8.3 amps. Not enough to run all of the outlets. As suggested by others, there should be certain circuits that are connected to the inverter.
