Inverter problem???

The wall plug(ground fault) in the bathroom buzzes only on the inverter but not with generator or shore power. It shows -0.7 on the inverter display. Any suggestions?

Is this something that used to work ok and now does not? First time to try it? New inverter? Etc.

Is the buzzing noise the only problem? The GFCI or downstream outlet work ok otherwise?

Some GFCI do make noise with MSW (modified sine wave) inverters.

the downstream outlets work fine. When the outlet is buzzing the inverter is drawing 0.7 amps, when I turn the breaker to the gfi off there no draw. My concern is when I was checking the water in the battery I noticed one of the house battries post was melted and I thought it was from the constant draw. when it's on shore or generator the outlet doesn't buzz. I replaced the outlet and it didn't fix it.

I would be getting the batteries checked to see if one is bad, to see what melted to post Did something fall on it to SHORT it out, you must have a problem in the battery compartment. 0.7 amps is nothing but it should not be buzzing.
How old are the batteries.
