It's too big for me! We love our 40' and the fact that we will have four less tires to buy when the time comes!

Four less tires... Ah, me thinks you mis-speak...

45 is fine

We are at 43' 10" might as well be 45 and love it. When we decided to go with a rig this big it was because we wanted no regrets meaning, we did not want to say later or wish we had purchased the larger coach. Glad we did because the extra space sure is nice. After a couple of trips you just get used to it and, there are plenty of places all over this great country where you can park the big rigs and like another said, you can always find nice cg's near the state parks where maybe the rig would not fit. 45 Ft also means tag axle which sure makes for a really nice stable ride.

Good luck with your choice

To kind of summarize...

Our first RV was only 15' long, we'd fit almost anywhere. Each successive RV has gotten bigger, our "retirement home" being 43' long. Yes, with each increase in size, there will be sites/parks we'd no longer fit on, but even up to today we've always found accommodations near where we wanted to visit, it just may not be in the public park campground (although many are upgrading).

This is no longer a weekend adventure rig, you'll be living in it. Only you know what kind of comfort you want in your new home. Life is full of compromises, this is one. Access to most county, state or federal facilities, or maximizing your travel and living comfort - or something in between.

Happy hunting. Your dream rig is out there, whatever you decide.
