I got my now x wife into RV camping, wanting to share our country with her and her 3 kids. During a 3-4 week trip out west one of her kids told me I don't know what's more fun. Getting there or being there... I thought that's exactly why I love RV's, makes the entire trip so much more fun.

If your not having fun getting there then your doing something wrong... that's how I feel. The drive home on the other hand can be a bit of a bummer since we know it's all ending in xxx miles or hours

Just wondering.
The journey is half the fun. The destination is the other half.

The journey is fun, but to me it's all about where I'm going. An RV allows a more pleasant journey, so I'm all about that.

Is it the journey or the destination?

It's the journey and the adventures and memories created along the way. We take our rig to a lake about an hour out of town and the rest away is always nice. Having a 2nd home on wheels always allows us to be home anywhere we go.

I would have to say both. We've been full time for the last two years and been coast to coast . This country is just spectacular. Thank the lord for memory cards , if it not for those I'd have spent thousands for film !

I'm about getting there and she's about being there. We make a pretty good team.

With an RV, the journey and the destination are in the same vehicle. That is what is so neat about RVing. As you are on your journey, you can stop and make just about anywhere a destination. That is one reason we like RVing.

Destination. Don't enjoy the stress of the drive. Wife likes the view.
