Is there a problem

I went out to my MH today to start the gen and exercise it a bit. After it started I noticed my am/fm radio was flashing in the display. I turned on a 12v interior light and it was flashing also. Pulled the shorepower lead to take it out of the picture altogether.
Still flashing on gen power only.
I was looking around and noticed the battery disconnect was flashing also. I flipped the switch to the on position. I think it was off but not sure.
After that things seemed fine from that time on.
Is this a normal operation or do I have a problem that is starting to show itself?

Depending on the temp and humidity, may just be a please don't use me warning. Several brands do this. Nothing in the owners manual ?

It's very hard on the transfer switch to start the gen at the same time the rig is on shore power. I unplug from shore power before I start the gen to save the transfer switch.

My transfer switch is ME! I have to physically plug the Shore power cord into the generator receptacle to get the generator attached to the RV electrical system. I kinda like it that way.

Thanks for that tip MrD I didn't know that about the transfer switch. Will remember it from now on.
Skip426 it was really cold out today. That might have something to do with it.
