Is this air dryer?

i was to look for air dryer under the passenger rear compartment, and saw this one with number T-293975-H made in Mexico on it:

googled the part no, it appears to be "bendix d2 air govenor". can someone confirm if this is what's normally called as "air dryer"? i thought it's not, but didn't see anything else in that area...

No, this is not the air dryer. The air dryer is larger and has a removable filter canister.
If you look on your chassis manufacturer site you should be able to find a picture of it.

Air dryer information. That is a governor.

My air dryer is attached to the frame rail behind the differential on the drivers side.

skip, the attached document is just what i needed; big thanks. apparently it's imperative to keep it maintained, but i don't see records from previous owner that it had ever been serviced.

The air dryer position on my older CC rig is demonstrated and part number stated in the Air System schematic in the Gillig Chassis manual.

Perhaps the manual for your DynoMax chassis has the same info?

hi dean, you are exactly right... i just checked chassis air group schematic, and saw the location - between rear and front wheels toward driver side...

the dryer is in the red circle. it recommends to inspect and replace desiccant cartridge as needed (cartridge assembly part # is 15438-9). i am wondering if this is manufacturer parts only or third party has it

Take careful note of the disclaimer in the lower right corner.

JMHO: I think your better off without that diagram.

Mine indicates an AD-4 (Bendix) dryer and about the same location. Things may have changed in 5 years.

A good reminder toward the lower right corner, i honestly didn't pay attention to that.
I will call CC to verify.

The diagram is for illustration purposes. On the 2000 Intrigue, the dryer is towards the rear, in front of the rear wheels, about center.
Start your engine and go back by the rear wheels and you will be able to hear the "spit" as it expels moisture and air
