Itasca/Winnebago power seat motor
My power seat has three motorized adjustments, front-to-back of course but also tilt from front to back and up/down. The housing holding the gear broke on the motor that operates the least useful adjustment, the tilt.
It is a Smith Richards motor, they have their website on the motor. They are OEM and as such, there is no way to order from them or even see what they have.
I understood that the seat has the part numbers, and yes, there is a tag with numerous numbers. Many numbers, I suspect most telling them what fabric is on the seat. I guess I can call Winnebago and/or a dealership, is that my best bet? Has anyone had to chase one of these down? I can find some aftermarket motors, but part of my problem is that my original is now in 5-6 pieces if I have them all and it's a little hard to confirm visually - and I need to make a cross-reference.

Winnebago probably buys the seat and power mechanism complete ; Flexsteel ? and would only supply the complete mechanism , all three motors and moving frameworks.

Would it be possible to disassemble the seat and or motor mechanism and repair/weld the broken item/housing?

That's what I'm worried about, you may be right. I guess I'm about to find out.

No, it's one of those hybrid metal and plastic parts. In fact, unless I had a whole unit, I'm not quite sure how it goes back, the worm gear meshes with the seat. I'm long legged and so like the seat back, but you also need to be able to adjust the seat up to pull the slideout in - so had it been the other one, I'd be trying to do it manually. I think I could do that with channel locks or pliers if I had to, at risk of stripping the gear. Then I would be buying a whole new seat, and may anyway.

Consider contacting visonervcom, you may get lucky and find a replacement drivers chair.

Your best bet is the chair manufacturer or a dealer handling that manufacturer. I think Winnebago uses Flexsteel, but I've not looked recently.
Here's one source for Flexsteel mechanisms:
