It's been an interesting couple of weeks.

And expensive. But worthwhile in the end.
Last week saw the end of my everlasting flooring remodel. I also had to replace the kitchen faucet because somebody (me) failed to winterize properly and it leaked. If that wasn't enough, I also decided to replace the old boat anchor tube TV with a flat screen. And upgrade the DVD player and surround sound.
And I needed new tires. Michelins all around! Ca-ching!!!
Again, all worth it. I feel like I've got a new coach. In my darker moments, I also feel like I've PAID for a new coach. But it's great and needed to be done. In fact, the tire guy told me today that I was extremely lucky that I hadn't had a blowout. Tires were 7 years old.
We're leaving for Maine on Saturday. Be gone two weeks. I need to get on vacation so I can start saving some money!
Pics to follow.

TV before, during, and after. Sorry the pics aren't too good. Windshield makes for pretty bad backlight. Click image for larger version

Pics of faucets and tires are boring, so I didn't take any of those. Use your imaginations.

I used the open space in my TV cabinet for a wireless subwoofer. Such a great place for one. Good job!

Jeffwitt...when you get a chance could you answer this question: Is the mounting for the flatscreen stationary or does it move?

bkb, the mounting for the TV is fixed. I had a moveable mount in my previous coach, and I didn't like the way it moved around while driving.

Jeffwit, How did you mount the TV bracket. I don't see any access from behind. I get how you can mount the bracket to those black cross supports, but I don't get how you mount the tv to it without being able to tighten screws from behind.

The bracket comes in 2 pieces. The first piece is the one you see that I mounted to the 2x4s. The second piece mounts on the back of the tv. The piece on the tv hooks on to the other piece, and there are screws that you tighten down to hold it into place. Does that make sense?
My wife was a little worried that it wouldn't hold very well, but we just got back from a 3200 mile trip, and it didn't budge.
BTW, I got the mounting bracket at Home Depot.
