Jacks safety brackets

Made these brackets that goes on the jacks cylinders. By being on cylinder if jacks goes down, the top part rests on cylinder main body and bottom rest on jack plate. feel a little safer when working under MH even if wheels are on ramps. Ramps don't need to be as high and lots of room to work under motorhome.

Roger,
Now THAT'S what I call ingenious! I'm under mine all the time while the Jacks are in use and that's pretty cool. I've been a fabricator for decades and that is an easy project. About the only change I'd do or, suggest is, I'd make one side with a heavy duty hinge. That way, you undo bolts and, open the two halves and, it's off. Nice job.

Thanks Fire up

was thinking of a big hinge and also just do it half pipe with long legs and put in pins on other side. Feel safer this way. This was easier and didn't have the big hinge. takes about 10 to 15 minutes to install all 4. Don't have to over tighten bolts as long as they are snug. I use my small impact driver with 3/4 socket on the 1/2 inch bolts

Great idea.. We used to put those on the landing gear struts to make sure they didn't accidentally retract while on the ground..

You should patent your idea and make them as a little side-line business.
